| Breaking News |  | Minnesota Trades Hooker to Kansas City for Daniels Tuesday, April 19th, 2016: The Twins and Royals announced a deal that was completed today. Minnesota sent 24-year-old starting pitcher Whit Hooker to Kansas City for 24-year-old minor league shortstop Lyndon Brown, 30-year-old left fielder Dustin Landaro, 28-year-old starting pitcher Shawn Daniels and 22-year-old minor league first baseman Monty Brown. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for the both teams and the players.
In his career Hooker has crafted a 0-4 record with a 6.32 ERA in 52.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .310 against him and he has rung up 31 strikeouts.
His career stats show that Daniels has racked up 12 victories and 8 defeats and has recorded an ERA of 3.01. He also has fanned 88 batters in 161.1 innings and allowed 145 hits. |  | Brewers, Marlins Announce Major Deal Tuesday, April 19th, 2016: Big news out of Milwaukee as BNN has learned that the Brewers will be trading 23-year-old starting pitcher Zidan Bile, 34-year-old shortstop Aaron Hill, 30-year-old center fielder Lorenzo Cain and 27-year-old closer J.J. Jackson to the Marlins. While the details have not been officially announced, reports are that Florida will be dealing 32-year-old center fielder Yoshi Tan and 25-year-old starting pitcher R.J. Stone to Milwaukee in what may be one of the most notable trades this season.
Since joining the league, Bile has compiled an ERA of 4.18 with a career record of 12-12. He has 135 strikeouts in 144.1 innings and has held opponents to a .268 batting average.
During the current season Tan is batting at a .250 clip with no home runs and 2 RBIs. He has played in 6 games and scored 3 times. |  | Brewers Deal Campbell to Phillies for Quiñones Tuesday, April 19th, 2016: The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Milwaukee Brewers have sent 29-year-old second baseman Eric Campbell to the Philadelphia Phillies for 27-year-old second baseman Willie Mitchell and 23-year-old minor league starting pitcher Iván Quiñones.
This season Campbell is batting .172 with 1 home run. He has scored 1 runs and driven in 1.
