 | Great Stroke: Hood Gets 5 Hits Sunday, April 17th, 2016: It was a parade of hits for Coy Hood of the St. Louis Cardinals... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Houston Astros for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats and propelled the Cardinals to a 11-2 victory. "Hood was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Astros manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." C. Hood hit a two-run home run off J. Kelly in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. So far this year Hood has 2 home runs and a .240 batting average. |
